Welcome to Toonstopia, this is a website devoted to my single panel cartoons of the same name.
Why the name Toonstopia? OK, let's start with some definitions:
Utopia - A society characterized by perfection such as : clenliness; personal freedom; perfect health and personal space.
Dystopia - A society characterized by misery such as : squalor; oppression; disease, and overcrowding.
Hence
Toonstopia - A society characterized by toon madness, logic, characters and situations where anything can and does happen (as long as I think it's funny)
Regular visitors will quickly realise that I've made several changes, namely this site concentrates on my Toonstopia cartoons, but I am inviting artists who want their work featured on this site to contact me and you will find profiles of other contributing artists on the Guest Artist page and their work on the Guest Cartoons page.
Anyone worried about what's happened to "Jimmy King Of Cats", don't panic. I've added him to the Guest Cartoon page along with my caricatures. I have also added the profile and cartoons of a cartoonist called Ninad so please check up these two pages and have a look at his work.
I've noticed that most web cartoonists state that their cartoons will be up on a certain day or days, but unfortunately I don't work like that. Some days I feel so low I can't get up the energy to have an idea or draw, while on other days I have so many that there's not enough hours in the day to draw them, so I won't make any promises and just say keep an eye on this site. My latest cartoon is now up, so please check it out.
